The method used by ancient settlers to create these large geoglyphs is still unknown today. You can access the reserve and navigate the sea in order to see diversity of species that inhabit it. The ruins are impressive because of their state of conservation, and the monument lets us learn how the Incas used to live on the Peruvian coasts. The canyon is 600 meters deep and has small lagoons in its abyss. It is located two hours from the capital of Ocucaje. The canyon is so impressive that it has been compared to the Grand Canyon in the USA.<\/p>\n<p>There are many more places to see in Ica. In the city itself, you can visit architectural and historical attractions, such as the Plaza de Armas. You can also plan a tour of the vineyards in the region to taste Peru\u2019s famous liquor: pisco.
