We wanted a place that was not too far from Lima, but disconnected enough; Ica was the perfect destination. We left Lima very early, and within minutes we were away from the traffic and heading south. The road was smooth and well marked with signs, making the trip easy and quick. A few hours later we arrived in Ica, and our GPS began guiding us to our final destination: Hotel Vi\u00f1as Queirolo. After thirty minutes, we reached the heart of the Ica Valley, where many vineyards welcomed us\u2014it was a sign that we were close. As we arrived, we were kindly greeted and welcomed. We stepped in and entered a paradise surrounded by vineyards and mountains. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After walking down a path in the middle of the vineyard, we arrived at the hotel. It looked like a small town, with a large fountain in the middle, and classic Republican-style buildings with modern finishes.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_hotel_and_its_facilities\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The hotel and its facilities<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The hotel staff kindly accompanied us to the reception to check in and to see our rooms. The hotel has several types of rooms that meet the needs of even the most demanding guests. The rooms are fully furnished, comfortable, and most have a wonderful view of the hotel\u2019s vineyards. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_restaurant_and_food\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The restaurant and food<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was time to eat, so we went to the hotel restaurant, which is called \u00abLas Vi\u00f1as\u00bb. It has a large dining room and a large window that looks out to a large terrace with beautiful views of the vineyards. They brought us a menu that was quite varied\u2014fusion cuisine, international dishes, and typical local dishes such as \u201csopa seca\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-918 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hotelvinasqueirolo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/el-restaurante-y-la-comida-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"393\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hotelvinasqueirolo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/el-restaurante-y-la-comida-1.jpg 750w, https:\/\/www.hotelvinasqueirolo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/el-restaurante-y-la-comida-1-300x157.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The food was delicious, and so were the desserts. The wine and beverage menu was varied. We remembered that the hotel is part of the famous wine and pisco brand Santiago Queirolo. It couldn\u2019t have been better.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Experience_make_all_the_difference\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experience make all the difference<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hotel Vi\u00f1as Queirolo has many attractions: 3 heated pools, an outdoor playground for children, a game room, and a tennis court. Starting with a walk through the vineyards and culminating with the sunset from the lookout point, with a wine and pisco tasting by a specialist sommelier.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And so we spent an unforgettable weekend at Hotel Vi\u00f1as Queirolo. A beautiful place, a warm climate, tranquility and peace, great service, delicious food, and good wines and piscos.
