We want to tell you about the unforgettable experience we had at Hotel Viñas Queirolo
The trip and arrival
The idea was to give ourselves a break from the bustle and chaos of the city. We wanted a place that was not too far from Lima, but disconnected enough; Ica was the perfect destination. We left Lima very early, and within minutes we were away from the traffic and heading south. The road was smooth and well marked with signs, making the trip easy and quick. A few hours later we arrived in Ica, and our GPS began guiding us to our final destination: Hotel Viñas Queirolo. We had seen pictures and heard others’ experiences of the hotel, so we had very high expectations.
From the city of Ica, we followed the map towards the hotel. After thirty minutes, we reached the heart of the Ica Valley, where many vineyards welcomed us—it was a sign that we were close. As we arrived, we were kindly greeted and welcomed. We stepped in and entered a paradise surrounded by vineyards and mountains.
After walking down a path in the middle of the vineyard, we arrived at the hotel. It looked like a small town, with a large fountain in the middle, and classic Republican-style buildings with modern finishes.
The hotel and its facilities
The hotel staff kindly accompanied us to the reception to check in and to see our rooms. Up to that point, the landscape and scenery was exceeding our expectations.
After being greeted kindly at reception, we saw our rooms. The hotel has several types of rooms that meet the needs of even the most demanding guests. The rooms are fully furnished, comfortable, and most have a wonderful view of the hotel’s vineyards.
The restaurant and food
It was time to eat, so we went to the hotel restaurant, which is called “Las Viñas”. It has a large dining room and a large window that looks out to a large terrace with beautiful views of the vineyards. They brought us a menu that was quite varied—fusion cuisine, international dishes, and typical local dishes such as “sopa seca”.
The food was delicious, and so were the desserts. The wine and beverage menu was varied. We remembered that the hotel is part of the famous wine and pisco brand Santiago Queirolo. It couldn’t have been better.
Experience make all the difference
Hotel Viñas Queirolo has many attractions: 3 heated pools, an outdoor playground for children, a game room, and a tennis court. I also found out that corporate events and even weddings can be held here.
But undoubtedly one of the most fun things were the activities offered by the hotel. Starting with a walk through the vineyards and culminating with the sunset from the lookout point, with a wine and pisco tasting by a specialist sommelier.
And so we spent an unforgettable weekend at Hotel Viñas Queirolo. A beautiful place, a warm climate, tranquility and peace, great service, delicious food, and good wines and piscos. We can only say that we cannot wait to return.
